Following Superintendent Jerry Keane’s retirement announcement for the end of the 2019-2020 school year, the Post Falls School District Board of Trustees has begun its search for an experienced educational leader to continue the district’s standard of excellence.
The Board of Trustees is committed to a thorough, transparent hiring process and plans to appoint the next Superintendent by March 2020. The process started with a community and staff survey to guide the Board in their next steps. Please see the below links for more detailed information regarding the timeline.

Application for Superintendent of Schools
School lunches are a cost effective way to provide students with a nutritious meal during the school day. You may qualify to take advantage of this wonderful service allowing your child to eat for free or at a reduced cost.
If you think you might qualify, please take a few minutes to complete a free and reduced lunch application - - forms are available at the school office or can be found on the District website under Departments, Nutritional Services, Forms (https://www.pfsd.com/17/home). Just return the completed form to the District Office (206 W. Mullan Ave.), to your student’s teacher, or to your school office. All information is totally confidential. If you need assistance or have questions with the application please call 208-773-1625.
Even if you choose not to take advantage of the free and reduced lunch program, a qualifying application can increase the school district’s allocated dollars which go directly toward our Title One reading program which helps students improve in reading.
Title One is a reading intervention program offered at all of our elementary schools to help students gain the skills needed to meet the state and district reading benchmarks. Our program receives its funding from the federal government. All of our Title funding is based on the number of students in the district who qualify for free and/or reduced lunch.
If you have already completed an application for this school year, you don’t need to fill it out again. Applications must be completed annually.
As you are aware, on occasion it is necessary for school to be cancelled because of inclement winter weather. Based on our recent survey results and neighboring districts also having this possibility, we are adding the option of a 2-hour late start.
