MAY STUDENT OF THE MONTH

Congratulations to the May ASB Student of the Month- Senior Hailey Upton. Hailey is an outstanding student with a strong work ethic and stands out as a positive role model for those around her. Hailey serves as a LINK leader, is a member of the swim team, choir, Orange Couch Improv Team & the Drama Department. Great job Hailey!Student of the Month

Negotiations Meeting

A Negotiations meeting between the PFEA and the District will take place on Wednesday, May 29th, at 3:45PM at Post Falls High School. 

Headley Named “Idaho Star”

High school student photo J HeadleyPost Falls High School student Jackson Headley was named the winner of the Idaho High School Activities Association scholarship program.  Nominees for the scholarships are exemplary students who:

  • Through their participation, strengthen interscholastic sports and activities programs.
  • Are active contributors to school and community organizations and programs.
  • Are good citizens and positive role models for their peers.
  • Promote the ideals of good sportsmanship and citizenship.
     

Each application includes an essay, recommendations from school administrators, and descriptions of athletic and activity participation and service to school and community.  A state performer on the Post Falls High School Speech team, Jackson has competed as a 3-sport athlete each year of his high school career.

Jackson was selected from over 100 applicants nominated by their high school.  Jackson will receive a $1000 scholarship and his picture will grace the back covers of all state tournament programs next year.

The Post Falls School District has joined the School Messenger emergency notification system.The system allows the district to communicate via SMS text messages to parents regarding important matters such as a school lockdown, school closure (weather or otherwise) or other issues that affect their students.
