Supplemental Levy March 9th

On January 11, the Post Falls School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved a resolution for a supplemental levy election to be held on March 9, 2021.  The proposed levy amount will remain at $4.955 million per year for two years for a total of $9.91 million. The current levy expires on June 30, 2021. This proposal, if approved March 9, will not increase school district taxes of the average Post Falls taxpayer.

PFHS JANUARY STUDENT OF THE MONTH

picture of studentCongratulations to the January Student of the Month – Senior Samantha Snow.
Samantha is an exceptional student who displays a strong attention to detail and is genuinely interested in learning rather than just achieving a grade. Her coursework is outstanding and she is a pleasure to have in the classroom. She is a 12 year senior in the Post Falls School District, has been involved in LINK, NHS, Ceramics Club, & ASB/ Student Council. Outside of school she is actively participates in gymnastics. Great job Samantha!

Updated HS Athletics Plan for Stage 2 Governor’s Order - 1/11/21

The Idaho Association of School Administrators, the Idaho High School Activities Association, the Idaho School Boards Association, and members of the Idaho State Board of Education submitted a plan for spectators at high school athletics resulting in the Governor amending his Stage 2 Order related to Athletic Events. School districts are required to sign and submit an assurance document to the Idaho State Board of Education, agreeing to the components in the plan. Please assist the district in complying with this plan so we can continue to allow spectators at our athletic events.

K-12 Students will Attend School 4 Days a Week

The Post Falls School District will continue to hold classes face-to-face 4 days a week, Monday – Thursday with Friday as a remote learning day.  The Board of Trustees approved the district’s new operational plan at the board meeting December 14th.  To view the new operational plan click here.

Reminders:

  • Face shields and/or masks are strongly recommended unless mandated by Panhandle Health, state, local or other governmental agency mandates.   
  • Late start Mondays are suspended for the rest of the school year regardless of the color of operation.
  • Boys and Girls Club will have childcare available on Fridays.  Please contact them at 208-457-9089.
