OCTOBER PFHS STUDENT OF THE MONTH

Congratulations to our October Student of the Month – Junior Melanie Fry.  Melanie is a positive asset to our school and is a member of LINK, Kindness and Spirit Clubs, as well as a member of the Tennis team. She is wonderful in the classroom and enjoys attending athletic events to support her classmates. Melanie is extremely friendly and always has a smile on her face!

National Merit Finalist

National Finalist Ali C PFHSAli Carpenter is a senior at Post Falls High School who qualified as a National Merit Semifinalist.

Some of her top accomplishments include earning an academic letter each year, and maintaining above a 4.0 throughout all of high school, all while taking dual credit and honors classes, and participating in a variety of activities and clubs including student council, National Honor Society, volleyball, and basketball.

After high school, Ali plans to attend a four-year college or university and play volleyball. She is undecided on her major, but she is interested in exploring majors that involve either marketing or advocacy.

The Post Falls School District has joined the School Messenger emergency notification system.The system allows the district to communicate via SMS text messages to parents regarding important matters such as a school lockdown, school closure (weather or otherwise) or other issues that affect their students.
