January Newsletter - from your Eat Smart Idaho team

The American Heart Association says that all children and adolescents should have 60 minutes or more of moderate to vigorous physical activity every day and no more than 1-2 hours of screen time daily. This includes watching television, being on a computer, playing video games, and texting or being on your phone. These activities stop you from being physically active. Set a New Year's Resolution and look for ways for you and your family to be more active...consider our beautiful outdoors this winter with activities like sledding, winter trail hikes, ice skating, or skiing. Moving more is healthy for the entire family.
