2019-20 Back To School Information
Kindergarten Registration

2019-2020 Kindergarten Registration will be taking place as follows:

Frederick Post Kindergarten 205 West Mullan Avenue 208-777-0479.  Monday – Friday from 8:30 to 3:15 until June 14th and then registration will start up again around August 19th.

Seltice Kindergarten 1101 N Chase Avenue 208-773-1681
Monday – Friday from 7:30 to 3:15 until June 14th and then
registration will start up again around August 19th.

Ponderosa Kindergarten 3483 Ponderosa 208-773-1508
Monday – Friday from 8:00 to 3:15 until June 14th and then
registration will start up again around August 19th.

Children must turn 5 on or before September 1, 2019 in order to register for public school kindergarten. 

You will find the registration forms at to fill out ahead of time and bring with you when you come in to register your student, along with the following information:

Certified birth certificate issued by the state where the child was born.  If you do not have this please order as soon as possible.   They may be ordered online at

Immunizations records (5 Dtp, 4 Ipv, 2 MMR, 3 HepB, 2 HepA, 2 Varicella)

Proof of residency (utility bill, rental agreement, etc.) and the student.

who will attend school in Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, or Lakeland school district.
We encourage--but don't require--you to attend workshops at your local district.

School Messenger

The Post Falls School District has joined the School Messenger emergency notification system.The system allows the district to communicate via SMS text messages to parents regarding important matters such as a school lockdown, school closure (weather or otherwise) or other issues that affect their students.

Lunch Charges

Lunch Charges
Please be aware that food services only allows three meal
charges on student meal accounts. If your student has more
than three charges, they will be given an alternate lunch until
their balance is paid. Please know that they will also be
charged for this alternate lunch at their same lunch price.
