Post Falls School District FERPA Policy in Regards to COVID-19

COVID-19: PERMITTED DISCLOSURES: The permitted disclosure of personally identifiable information to appropriate officials in connection with a health or safety emergency (§99.31(a)(10)) may include the disclosure of a positive COVID-19 test result and/or disclosure of exposure to COVID-19 by a student to a person with whom the student has had close contact and has tested positive, to public health department officials, or to other individuals who have a need to know, in order to protect the health or safety of a student or another individual.
