DECEMBER PFHS STUDENT OF THE MONTH


Brelane Huber

 

Congratulations to the December ASB Student of the Month – Junior Brelane Huber. Brelane is a wonderful student in the classroom and is involved in a variety of extra-curricular activities. She is a varsity wrestler and swimmer and is a vital part of the LINK program. She also is active in her church’s youth program. Brelane has a zest for life and makes everyone around her better at what they do.                 Great job Brelane!

Serve Week December 10th thru 15th

Post Falls High School will be involved in providing service to the community during "SERVE WEEK".  The school will conduct various activities supporting local non-profit agencies such as the Post Falls Food Bank, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Inland Northwest Blood Bank, Shriner’s Hospital and others. 

Staff and students will be collecting blankets, gloves, hats, and food.  Students have set a goal of collecting 5000 lbs. of food.  Staff and students will also have an opportunity to donate blood as the Spokane Blood Bus will be on site.

Winter Weather May cause School Closure

On occasion, it is necessary for school to be canceled because of inclement weather. The district will provide up-to-date information regarding potential closures at this site. Other emergency information can be found under Current Emergencies on the district website. In most cases, the decision to keep school open or to close school will be made by 5:30am.

The Post Falls School District has joined the School Messenger emergency notification system.The system allows the district to communicate via SMS text messages to parents regarding important matters such as a school lockdown, school closure (weather or otherwise) or other issues that affect their students.
